Donations are a welcome way to support our service and help to pay expenses that we can't always recoup through our adoption fees.
Whenever you, or someone you know, is ready to welcome a canine companion into your life – please consider a rescue dog as your first option.
The dogs love their daily walks and benefit from socialisation with their handlers. It's a great way to get some exercise while helping our four legged friends.
Brave Companion Dog Rescue Inc. is a not-for-profit group, operating throughout the Lockyer Valley, Ipswich and Somerset regions in South East Queensland. Our mission is to rescue and rehome the region's abandoned and unwanted dogs.
We are situated at the Old Laidley Pound Shelter.
We are composed entirely of volunteers and operate from leased pens in the old shire council pound, as well as a small network of home-based foster carers.
We usually have between 10 - 20 dogs in our care at any given time.
Our policy is a strictly "no kill" policy, which means all dogs are cared for until they find their permanent home.
